Hi, my name is Cara and I am one of the senior associate veterinarians at Warner Vet. Ever since I was young I wanted to work with animals, and on leaving high school was lucky enough to be accepted to study veterinary medicine at the University of Queensland in Brisbane.
During my time at university, I developed a strong interest in small animal medicine and surgery and decided to persue a career as a predmoninantly small animal veterinarian. After graduating in 2008 I joined the team at Warner Vet. I haven't really looked back since, enjoying the people I work with, a varied and interesting case load and great clients. No day is the same and that certainly keeps life interesting.
I have recently taken on a part time role, spending my spare time running a small craft business from home. Outside of the clinic, my time is now mostly taken up with sewing projects, re-finishing furniture and jewelery making. If you are new to Warner Vet, I very much look foward to meeting you and your pets; and I am also love seeing the familar faces (both human and animal) that I have come to know during my time at Warner Vet.
